This kit arrives with comprehensive instructions, which take you through the whole project from start to finish; from placing your fabric inside the embroidery hoop, to executing each stitch, to using beads, to framing your work inside the hoop at the end. Whether you're a really confident stitcher or a beginner, the instructions should help you to be really confident to get stuck in & complete your project. There are also video tutorials on my YouTube channel, which offer you the opportunity to watch me executing many of the skills you'll need to complete the kit.
To offer you plenty of different stitches to learn, we have designed the kit using a combination of satin stitch, back stitch, straight stitch and seed stitch, alongside bead embroidery to give you a taste of something modern and new! You will also have the opportunity to experiment with using a range of different threads, we have included stranded cotton and crewel wool, which both have completely different finishes, helping to create interest and texture within your embroidery. This colour palette is one of our favourites here at Kirsty Freeman Design, so we really hope you enjoy stitching with the deep green shades, vibrant orange tones and subtle creams and greys.
