If you’re wanting to give crafting a go for the first time, or are looking for a new project to get stuck into, our little hedgehog craft kit is sure to keep you busy! Our instructions will take you through your felt craft kit step by step, showing you how to cut your pattern pieces and fabric, before taking you through the stitching. You’ll learn how to do straight stitch, back stitch, blanket stitch and how to add beads to the body, eyes, nose and toes. The decoration is double sided, so you will have enough materials to add stitching and beads to both sides, to create a luxurious keepsake. The kit is very adaptable and although you receive instructions showing you how to create a replica of my hedgehog, you are more than welcome to experiment and make the stitching on your hedgehog as simple or complicated as you would like to.
We have curated a beautiful range of fabrics ready for you to stitch with! Your fawn coloured wool blend felt is soft and pliable, perfect for stitching on! You will also receive a brown and white gingham fabric, which has a very autumnal feel, so it’s a great project to get stuck into as the seasons change. We have included ample stranded cotton and beads too to make sure you’ll have plenty to complete your project. Everything else you’ll need will be included too: some wadding to help make your decoration 3D, an extra bobbin of thread to help you attach your beads, some pins and needles and of course, some ribbon to hang your decoration with! There are so many different places you could hang your decoration - we would love to see where you display your hedgehog, so do get in touch via social media if you’d like to share your project with us!
